So is anyone here a big fan of them? I am, I have all 32 released albums of theirs, and they are almost all amazing. My favorite album is Animals, and just found out they are making a movie, and read that it should be good, the way they go about it. I sure hope it is!! -[link]- |

I saw Roger Waters in concert when he came to Boston last July. Among other songs he did: Mother, Have a Cigar, Sheep, Set Controls for the Heart of the Sun, Shine on you Crazy Diamond, All of Dark Side of the Moon, then came back with an encore of Another Brick in the Wall, and Wish you Were Here It was by far the best concert I've ever been to. There was an astronaut blimp that floated and tumbled around the stadium (as if in 0 gravity), a giant inflatable pig, and my personal favorite, A 3D prism symbol made entirely out of lasers Here's "Sheep" just to give you an idea of what it was like -[link]- also here's a cool site for his box set -[link]- |

I really like Pink Floyd. I am not hardcore as you though. I like all on Dark Side of the Moon, Wish you were here, Shine on you Crazy Diamond ect. Xfire me some other good albums/songs that I should listen too. | ||

New artists dont know how to put on a show. Pink Floyd, Genesis, CCR, the Rolling stones, etc know how to do it properly. You need emphasis on the music but it has to be a party too.. especially at the ticket prices we pay now |

Pink Floyd is definately one of my favorite bands. thats one of the few bands that i would die to go see live. I've heard that pink floyd sounds better live than studio. my favorite albums are the final cut, dark side of the moon, animals, and the wall. also, if you haven't ever seen the dvd of the wall. you need to cause its pretty trippy. |

Yes yes yes! Floyd rocks! No no no! Don't stop rockin! Forget albums, my top 9 favorite Floyd songs, ready? Steady. Go! 9 - Comfortably Numb - beautiful melancholy at it's best. 8 - Mother - in a scary uncertain world... ask mom. 7 - Money - it's a crime. 6 - Wish You Were Here - one of the few songs whose opening chords evoke emotions of sadness in me. 5 - Pigs on the Wing - this is just a great great song. 4 - Welcome to the Machine - this song used to scare me as a child, I realize now because I didn't understand it. This is a powerful song. 3 - Dogs - "You've got to be trusted, by the people that you lie to." 2 - Hey You - Is there anybody out there? Really. Where is everyone? And my #1 favorite Pink Floyd song of all time. 1 - On the Run/Time The horse gallop/tick tock with the drums is fucking sick! One of the best opening to a song I've ever heard. Um... I dunno. Depends on who makes it and how its made. Any movie can be good. Get Tarantino to direct it. | ||
